We have launched the English version of the site after since its official launching in Bengali in 26^th April 2003. The coda of this attempt lies in the first edition of our effort to present Little Magazine and other areas in Bengal’s cultural space online so that it becomes accessible to a larger audience. Keeping that promise in mind, we now launch a parallel English version of the content in the site. We have attempted to give a fair idea about our purpose and ourselves in a synoptic module here. Total translation of the main page and the index pages of each of its sections are [Photography, Music Painting, Little Magazine] available here. Besides there are several articles translated in a synopsized manner. However, we have refrained from any attempt of translating the stories, poems, plays, and songs since we believe that it is impossible to present such creativity within a translated and synoptic module. The drive behind this translated version is to move beyond the linguistic space of Bengal and reach a larger audience. We hope to expand more in near future.
